After forming his own studio named Honey Parade Games under Marvelous Entertainment Umbrella, Senran Kagura series Producer Kenichiro Takaki spilled the beans (or at least teased) on Weekly Famitsu about what he the team has in store for the near and medium term.

On top of the already announced  ShinobiRefle Senran Kagura, which will be a smaller downloadable title to experiment on the HD rumble of the Nintendo Switch, Takaki-san revealed that a second one is in the works, but this will be a package game released physically, which means a larger scale project. This one will make use of the console's HD rumble feature as well.

While the studio is also working on mobile titles, the main axis of their works remains on consoles, so things are moving on the PS4 front as well. On top of continuing to update Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash, another game is in the works for PS4, which might be released within the current fiscal year. On top of that, another "big" PS4 game is in the works for the next fiscal year.

On top of that, Takaki-san also mentioned a few other smaller projects and medium-sized titles, which should appear by the end of the next fiscal year. That being said, he'd like to announce something new during the summer.

At the end of Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash, players can find what many interpreted a teaser for a new "Senran Kagura 7" game (you can see it at the bottom of the post, courtesy of YouTube user SyaoranQ8), but we don't know which one of the projects mentioned above this is related to. Incidentally, Takaki-san also mentioned that preparations are being made for two anime series, and a connection with those can't be excluded either.

In the meanwhile, Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash continues to churn out DLCs in Japan, latest of which is the addition of four playable character from the Ikkitousen series released just this morning.

The game will be released in the west this Summer, courtesy of XSeed Games, that is also providing a spiffy limited physical edition. For the moment we don't know about the DLC plans, but it's likely that most if not all will come west as well.
