Today Sega revealed the mysterious new game that it has been teasing over the past few days. The title is "Sensen Senki" (Chronicle of the War of a Thousand Years), and it's actually an arcade game.

To be more precise, it's a digital card battle game, in which the player taking on the role of a "Kronos" (commander) controlling a party of four warriors battling it out to defeat the enemy Kronos.

The game is played online, so gamers will be able to compete for supremacy across Japan.

There are three kinds of cards in play, equipment, item, and magic, and they can be used to influence the results of the battle. Cards are played by spending SP (Soul Power), and using up all SP will cause the time of day on the battlefield to change.

Each Kronos also has a special magic named Eureka that can only be used once. It also requires a countdown to expire before it's activated, and the duration changes depending on the desired effect.

Below you can see two gameplay videos showcasing the flow of the game and explaining how combat works.

The game will enter location testing in Japan on January 26th and will be available to play until January 28th at two of Sega's arcades in Akihabara, Tokyo,
