Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass Finally Announced by Croteam and Devolver Digital

Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass was announced for PC today by Croteam and Devolver Digital, with more details set to be revealed at E3 2018.

Over the past couple years, developer Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital have been working diligently on the Serious Sam series, releasing titles like Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, and Serious Sam’s Bogus Detour. Hardcore fans of the series should rejoice though, as Croteam and Devolver Digital officially announced Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass today.

This is the first new mainline entry in the series since Serious Sam 3: BFE in 2011. According to the game’s developers, Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass will retain the series’ classic over-the-top action with hordes of enemies and super powerful weapons, but will do so on a much bigger scale than previous entries.

While details on the project are currently quite scarce, Croteam and Devolver Digital are promising to reveal more about the game later this year at E3 2018. Until then, this short announcement trailer will have to do.
