While Google Stadia has been under fire of late for its incredible lack of games available to play on the platform, it was known that there are 120 games to come throughout 2020. The Serious Sam Collection is one of them and launches today.

The game will see players playing through Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, and Serious Sam 3: BFE. All three classics are available in one package and will find the first-person action making use of speedy combat and quick reactions to enemies. There are also big guns and lots of explosions that have all been remastered in HD.

The original Serious Sam: The First Encounter launched back in 2001, The Second Encounter in 2002, and Serious Sam 3: BFE launched in 2011. The three games were remastered and released in 2013 as a collection for the Xbox 360.

Google's Stadia team sat down with Davor Hunski, the CCO of Croteam to talk about the game last month. While the interview delves into the history of the game a little bit, when asked about what makes the experience unique to Stadia, Hunski replies, "Playing on Stadia is unlike anything that has been experienced before because you don’t need to worry about your computer staying up to date or having a machine that’s powerful enough to play. You need your controller, a screen, and a good connection."

The trailer shows off the lovely visuals and also teases the 2-4 player split-screen in co-op deathmatch. Also included in the collection is the Legend of the Beast and Jewel of the Nile DLCs.

The Serious Sam Collection is available on the Google Stadia store today.
