If you've been waiting to play Crea-ture Studios' skateboard sim on console, you will have to wait. The developer has announced that the Session Xbox One release has been delayed to November or early December.

Announced on Crea-ture Studios' Facebook and Discord, the developer put out a statement about the delay, stating that they "need more time to port Session to Xbox One." Also noted, and as expected, this is not the news the studio wanted to give today, stating, "We know it's not great news to hear, but it's not particularly fun to announce either, especially for a small studio like ours." Here is the full statement:

Hey everyone,

Unfortunately, at this point, we need still need more time to port Session to Xbox One. That being said, we must postpone the Xbox One version release date to late November/early December.

We know this sucks and we totally understand as we know you have been waiting to play the game on console for a while now. We know it’s not great news to hear, but it’s not particularly fun to announce either, especially for a small studio like ours.

It is never easy to make such decisions as we know it can have an impact on several levels, so these decisions are never taken lightly.

We thank you for your understanding and hope you will stick around for the Xbox One release!

At E3 2018, it was announced Session would be coming to Xbox One, but no release date was announced. It wasn't until a few months ago where it was revealed the Session Xbox One release would be coming to Microsoft's console in October.

If you have a decent PC, you can play Session right now. You can check out our preview of the skateboarding sim to see what we think of it so far.
