SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell Charges Towards Season II Patch

The art of speedrunning and that feeling you might be caught in some level of fiery purgatory seem to go hand in hand. The devs at Pine Studios seem to have tapped into that dynamic with their game SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell.  They also refuse to be outdone by those who have rocketed through their levels as they recently released a ‘season II’ patch to bring new content to players. It includes:

  • Cleansing of the leaderboards- The new update opens the gates of Season II by resetting all leaderboard scores. The best players from Season I will get their special place in the “Pit of Infamy” and will be remembered until the end of times.
  • Replays -You can now watch replays of other players.
  • Extended play – A free map pack with 11 new levels.
  • More languages – Beer, Bier, cerveza, bière, piwo,пиво, or pivo… whatever you like!

The game itself plays like a version of Portal caught in a heavy metal album. The main character, Morty, has your usual physics based puzzler powers such as reversing gravity and telelporting all over the map. He can also shoot fireballs from the reattached arm of a demon that he killed when the underworld stole his beer: seems like a fitting plot to this over-the-top game.

SEUM is on sale for $9.74 USD (35% off) until October 16th on Steam. The season II patch is free and currently out waiting for you so set one hell of a speed record.
