Bandai Namco launched a new trailer for their upcoming fighter The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia, coming to PlayStation 4 on February 9, 2018.

The trailer shows off two modes available in the game: Adventure Mode and Multiplayer Battle Mode. In Adventure Mode, players will be able to take on quests, collect rumors from townspeople to increase their “gossip meter”, and fight against enemies that they run into throughout the kingdom of Liones. On the other hand, Multiplayer Mode allows players to choose their favorite character from the series and fight against other players online or offline. This includes characters that are met in the upcoming new season of The Seven Deadly Sins anime.

Based off the manga and anime series, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia brings together the characters and settings of the show into a full gaming experience. The game will follow events of the source material and have players face off against foes throughout a campaign as well as online tournament style fighting.

The fighting is fast paced and features each character’s iconic moves and abilities, which will surely be exciting for fans to experience. As popular as the show is in the anime and manga community, it’d be interesting to see how gamers who are unfamiliar with the show, but are accustomed to 3D fighting games, approach the series. It’s possible that the franchise could just become more popular by entering the video game space.
