SFV Spring Update - Akira, Rose, and Oro Teasers Plus Release Date

Akira Kazama from Rival School revealed as a new Street Fighter V Character.

Street Fighter V is one of the longest-running fighting games that has extended its existence to the ninth generation of consoles as well. Recently, during the SFV Spring Update showcase, Capcom revealed more details about the upcoming fighters to the game.

For Rival Schools fans, the name “Akira Kazama” should ring a bell. One of the popular fighters in Capcom’s fighting title that was launched on the original PlayStation console back in 1998. In 2012, the game was playable in Japan on PlayStation 3 consoles using the PlayStation Network feature. That being said, now it’s only playable on Arcade devices.

Without further ado, let’s get familiar with Capcom’s new surprise from Rival Schools in Street Fighter V!

Akira Kazama:

Unfortunately, Capcom never released a sequel to the Rival Schools series, but at least you can now have your first look at Akira Kazama in Street Fighter V. The video below showcases the characters moves and skills, along with her special finisher. Check it out:

Oro:

Oro is the other playable fighter that has been promised to be released until the end of this year. The new SFV Spring Update presentation showcased the full details of Oro’s fighting style, including his V-Skill and V-Trigger abilities. The last time we had seen Oro in action was in Street Fighter 3.

Rose:

The closest fighter to release for Street Fighter V is Rose. The character will be available on April 19 this year. After Dan, Rose is the second character in SFV 2021 roadmap. Below, you can check out her moves and special skills:

Street Fighter V 2021 content roadmap still features one more fighter that remains unannounced so far. Purchasing either Character Pass or Permium Pass for Season 5 will grant you free access to the new characters.

Street Fighter V is now available on PS4, PS5, and PC.
