We finally have the confirmed release date of Shadow House season 2 revealed in its new trailer. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming anime.

Based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by So-ma-to, Shadow House is an anime series in the gothic, mystery, and supernatural genres. The manga of Shadow House was first released in September 2018, and it's currently on its tenth volume. After getting significant appreciation from the fans, the first season of its TV series was released in April 2021. Although the renewal of its second season was greenlit long ago, we finally have its confirmed release date.

For those who are new to Shadow House, it's about a faceless clan living in a house that expresses emotions through the living dolls. The main protagonists, Emilyco and Kate, try to learn more about themselves and the mysterious house.

The official website of Shadow House and the new trailer released on the official YouTube account of AniTV confirms that season 2 will release on July 8th, 2022. The trailer promises a great story and an appealing amination done by CloverWorks.

Alongside the official trailer, we've also got a new bit of promotional which shows the anime's main characters. Some of these characters are: Emilyco, Kate, Barbara, Barbeat, Rosemary, and Maryrose.

We also have confirmed news about the cast and staff members working in season 2. Kazuki Ohashi is the anime director, while Toshiya Ohno has done the series composition. Mitsuki Maeda handles the art setting alongside Hiroshi Kato as the Art supervisor. Kizuke Koizumi does sound direction in the upcoming anime, while Kenichiro Suehiro gives the music.

But it's unclear how season 2 will be available for the international audience. It's most likely that season 2 will be licensed by Crunchyroll, just like season 1.
