The mighty Lara Croft saw the final installment of her latest reimagining hitting consoles and PC earlier this year in the form of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The somewhat divisive game will now see the classic character's outings making their way to macOS and Linux.

Feral Interactive has been tasked with the challenge of bringing the sweeping open-world title to macOS and Linux. The company is no stranger to Lara's adventures though, as it also brought Tomb Raider (2013) and its sequel Rise of the Tomb Raider to these devices in the past.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider follows Lara as she faces the horrors of a potential Mayan apocalypse. The gritty title sees her traversing thick jungles, and combating enemies using her now signature axe as both a weapon and a climbing tool. She will also be armed with her bow and arrow along with her incredible wits and cunning.

The series' dark setting and beautiful locations can be seen in the trailer below where Lara finds herself caught up in floods and fighting for survival through harsh conditions.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be landing on macOS and Linux in 2019, although there is currently no solid release date. The title can also be picked up now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can secure a copy via Amazon.
