Today Square Enix and Eidos Montreal released a brand new Shadow of the Tomb Raider video featuring 3D Artist Yann Regnier.

In the video, Reginer talks about the puzzles and mechanisms he worked on for the game. He designed more than fifty of them, making sure that they were functional in a logical way. This is to ensure that they don't feel like they work magically. In order to achieve that, he studied the civilizations that built them and limited materials to bronze (excluding iron), cording, stone, obsidian, and wood.

Interestingly, we also get to see the machines Reginer created in action.

You can check the video out below. If you want to learn more about the game, you can enjoy DualShockers’ own preview. You can also check out another recent video, and one from the same series released a few days ago, alongside a second clip, and a third one.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you want to grab a copy of the game, you can currently pre-order it on Amazon.
