Considering the fact that the game is already available for pre-order on the Xbox Store, it is very highly unlikely that it is merely a placeholder and not the actual release date of the game. Also, we had several instances of the release date on the Xbox Store being quite accurate, so there is that to keep in mind as well.

While fans will be quite excited to hear that the game is releasing so soon, it should be noted that an early March release might not work out to be the best for the game, considering that two of the biggest releases of this year Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West are already slated to launch towards the end of February. That being said, considering the fan following the franchise has, it looks all set to shatter some records this time around as well.
