Shaman King fans are looking forward to the release of the new anime episode. However, the studio confirmed that the series would be on a break for a while. So, you'll have to wait a little bit more to watch Episode 18.

Written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei, Shaman King is a popular Japanese manga. The first anime adaptation of the manga aired from July 2001 to September 2002. However, in April 2021, Bridge Studio started a Shaman King Reboot.

The Story of the anime/manga series revolves around Yoh Asakura, a boy who wants to become the next Shaman King. To move forward, he has to battle against other Shamans in a battle held once every 500 years.

Shaman King Episode 18 & 19 Gets Delayed

The first 17 episodes of Shaman King are available for everyone to watch. Now, fans want to see what events will unfold in Episode 18.

Shaman King follows a weekly release schedule, and episode 18 was initially scheduled to release on Thursday, July 29th, 2021. However, according to the anime's official website, the upcoming episode has been delayed for two weeks because of Tokyo Olympics. Now, Episode 18 is confirmed to release on August 12.

For the same reason, the broadcast of Shaman King Episode 19 has also moved from August 5 to August 19.

Shaman King isn't the only series affected by the Tokyo Olympics. Several other animes are also on a break alongside popular manga like Black Clover, My Heri Academia, and One Piece.

The creators confirmed that Shaman King would run for a total of 52 episodes. You can watch the new anime series on Bilibili. Moreover, Netflix will premiere its first season on August 9th, 2021.
