Today Limited Run Games will be taking pre-orders for a number of titles in the Shantae series including Shantae, Risky’s Revenge, and Half-Genie Hero. Alongside that, the company is releasing other items tied to the franchise as well.

The first entry in the series that released on the Game Boy Color back in 2002 will be getting a special reprint after being incredibly hard and expensive to get an original cartridge. This was announced earlier this year during the Limited Run Games showcase and will be the first Game Boy Color release the company has ever done. Additionally, the title will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch as well as the follow up in the series Risky’s Revenge.

Both titles will be getting a Collector’s Edition, each with a variety of goodies, and a steelbook. The Game Boy Color version of Shantae will also be getting its own Collector’s Edition completely different from the Switch version giving fans more choice on which one they want to pick up.

On top of the new game releases, Half-Genie Hero will be getting a reprint for Switch and PlayStation 4 after getting a limited physical release back in 2018. This release is only being distributed through Limited Run Games from publisher XSeed Games so it is unlikely there will be no rerelease for Shantae and the Pirates Curse or Shantae and the Seven Sirens as those were released directly through Limited Run themselves in the past.

Here is everything that is available right now with all their prices:

Limited Run will be taking pre-orders for these items for four weeks and according to them, they are open pre-orders so they shouldn’t sell out at any point. You can go to the Limited Run site directly to make any pre-orders.
