Today, Hollow Tree Games has announced via press release that an official release date for its upcoming title Shape of the World has been unveiled.

According to the developer, Shape of the World will first launch on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam ON Tuesday, June 5 followed by the Switch and Xbox One on Wednesday, June 6. Regardless of which platform you play the game on, the upcoming title will cost $15.

Initially starting out as a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter Shape of the World is an exploration title developed by Hollow Tree Games. In Shape of the World, players assume the role as an outsider. Players will embark on a journey as they explore lush lands, vibrant waters, and a slew of psychedelic colors.

One of the key selling points for Shape of the World is the absence of a timer. With the game lacking a timer, this enables gamers to explore the in-game world and partake in various activities. Ranging from hiking mountains, flying with whales (no, I am not kidding), and so much more.
