The Re: Sharin no Kuni team has updated the Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shōjo Kickstarter page with some good news for PlayStation Vita owners.

Originally, the Vita version would be only obtainable if the campaign hit its first stretch goal of $120,000. However, the publisher has worked out a deal for the game to receive a digital release on the North American PSN. [Edit] The stretch goal for the PlayStation Vita version must be met in order to see the game released on PSN. It was originally thought that the company was releasing the game on PSN as long as the campaign succeeds. Currently, the campaign is sitting at over 90% funded and 23 days to go.

For backers who have a copy of the game included in their tier will be able to switch from PC to Vita. The choice to pick a digital version of the game will be included in the BackerKit survey. Additionally, the limited edition box of the game will only be available through the campaign.

Furthermore, the digital version is only obtainable with a North American PSN account at this time.
