Sharp Announces and Releases Biggest TV Yet

Announced and released today is the biggest TV available for retail. Sharp has unveiled the Sharp AQUOS 80″ Class LED LCD HDTV. After seeing this beauty in person, I have to say that it absolutely dwarfs the majority (if not all) of the big screens I’ve seen in my lifetime. I thought gaming on a 50″ was a bit much, but this was ridiculous.

Fortunately, all the Sharp TVs come standard with Vyper Drive (Game Mode), and the new 80″ TV is no exception. I have always been one that is very picky about the kind of TV I play on when it comes to gaming, and latency-free is the way to be in my book. For $5,499 it does hurt quite a bit, but at least you’ll be good on your TV buying days for a good while. Can’t wait to play something like Kirby’s Epic Yarn on that thing. Could you imagine all that yarn on a giant screen TV? It’d look so real.

P.S. Yes, those are 19″ inch TVs next to the 80 incher.
