She-Hulk Leaked As Next Character In Marvel's Avengers

She-Hulk could be the next superhero coming to the roster.

July 6, 2022

During a Marvel’s Avengers stream on the official Twitch channel of Xbox, the host unintentionally leaked that She-Hulk would be coming to the game.

Techniq, a guest host who was having an online chat with the lead designer behind Marvel’s Avengers in an official Xbox Stream, claimed that he knows the voice actress behind She-Hulk in the game, and knowing that there is no She-Hulk in Marvel’s Avengers at the moment, Techniq leaked something big about the game’s future content.

When Techniq revealed such surprising information on Marvel’s Avengers, Brian Waggoner, the lead designer of the game, tried to take control of the chat, by talking about the fact that they have nothing to share about the next hero in Marvel’s Avengers and they would like to take their time to celebrate the launch of Jane Foster, the most recent character that was added to the game’s roster recently.

Although there is still no official confirmation on She-Hulk from Crystal Dynamics, we already know that Disney Plus will air the She-Hulk TV series in August 2022, which makes it an ideal time for Marvel’s Avengers to get on the hype train for She-Hulk and add the superhero to the roster as a playable character.

On June 28, Crystal Dynamics released Might Thor as the fifth post-launch superhero for Marvel’s Avengers. After Kate Bishop, Ms. Marvel, and Black Widow, Mighty Thor is the fourth female playable character in Marvel’s Avengers, which could increase to five with the possible release of She-Hulk in the future.

Despite the recent takeover of Crystal Dynamics by the Embracer Group, we haven’t seen any significant change in the direction of post-launch content for Marvel’s Avengers.

The studio is still committed to supporting the game and bringing new content, however, there is no official roadmap for the game at the moment, and according to a recent report by Forbes, Crystal Dynamics has apparently scrapped the roadmap for this year.

Currently, a secondary team at the studio is working on the next iteration of Tomb Raider based on Unreal Engine 5. In addition to this, the studio is also helping out Microsoft’s The Initiative to develop Perfect Dark.
