Shenmue III Introduces New Characters; Promises New Videos and Announcements at Gamescom

Yu Suzuki's studio shares more visuals of Shenmue III, alongside a tease for new goodies coming at Gamescom.

Today Yu Suzuku’s studio YS Net released a new update about Shen Mue III.

First and foremost, we get a new logo for the game, created taking comments from the fans in consideration. 3D models for three characters have been also revealed, including a shrine maiden, a middle aged lady, and an elderly man. You can see it in the gallery.

No further details have been announced for now about them, but you can also enjoy a look at the renders in the gallery.

Speaking of announcements, the studio disclosed that it will have a presence at Gamescom, where it plans to share new videos, updates, and even some new announcements.

Shen Mue III for PS4 and PC has been recently delayed to the second half of next year to make it “bigger and more beautiful.” You can also check out another character revealed recently, and a video showcasing Yu Suzuki. Gamescom will be held in Cologne, Germany, between August 22nd and August 26th. Of course, we’ll be on the show floor, ready to report on anything YS Net will announce.
