Shenmue fans around the world had much to celebrate last weekend as SEGA announced that it will finally be re-releasing the original pair of classic games to consoles and PC later this year, and now some new details have been revealed regarding the anticipated collection.

YouTuber Adam Koralik released a video today with additional information about the upcoming Shenmue I & Shenmue II HD collection coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year following a chance to check out the titles with SEGA in Japan.

Specifically, Koralik revealed that the re-released Shenmue titles will run $29.99 for both games, and physical versions of the collection will be available on PS4 and Xbox One, while PC will remain a digital-only release.

Aside from the pricing, Koralik also stated in his video that developer D3t Ltd. will be handling the new releases of the games, who previously worked on titles such as Killzone: Shadow FallLawBreakersThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and many others. Likewise, Koralik also addressed that Achievements and Trophies will be available across their respective platforms through consoles and PC.

While Koralik revealed some intriguing info about the games, he also said in the the video that he is "only allowed to talk about like 5% of what I learned," so clearly we'll get to know much more about the re-released pair of classics as they near release.

Shenmue I & II HD collection will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year in the US, while it will release exclusively for PS4 in Japan. For more on the game, you can also check out some new 1080p screenshots of the classic games in action.
