TheĀ Shenmue series has long been a cult classic series since the first title’s debut on the Dreamcast in 1999, and now with the upcoming HD remasters of the first two titles, a whole new generation of gamers will get to experience the titles for the first time this August.

SEGA has officially confirmed thatĀ Shenmue I & II HD Remaster will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 21st, 2018 as shown in a new trailer revealing the release date, and showing more of the remastered titles in action.

In addition to the new trailer and release date, SEGA also announced that pre-orders for the remastered collection are now live across all platforms. The end of the trailer also showed that pre-orders for the physical release of the game on PS4 and Xbox One will also include a special double-sided poster and a reversible cover.

The announcement from SEGA comes very shortly after a listing from Microsoft let the release date slip a bit early, but now that SEGA has made an official announcement, it appears we won’t have to wait long at all until the collection is in our hands this summer.

Shenmue I & II‘s HD remaster collection will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 21st, 2018. For a closer look at the game, you can check out the newly-released trailer from SEGA below, and you can also head over to Amazon to pre-order a physical copy of the game now.
