Some new screenshots have been released from Frogwares and Focus Home Interactive on the upcoming Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments game, which show the visual progress the game has made over the last few months.

Not only has Crime and Punishments received a visual enhancement, but Frogwares say that the use of the Unreal Engine 3 has added to the game's investigation mechanics, allowing for 14 different mechanics that will be presented in the coming months. These mechanics are what Frogwares believe will make players truly feel like Sherlock Holmes, using Holmes' trademark deduction skills to approach each situation from the very beginning to the arrest of the culprits, with moral choices presented throughout.

The first four screenshots below reflect the recent visual changes the game has made, as compared to the rest of the screenshots. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is set to release to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC; expect new details next week during E3.
