During a livestream from Tokyo hosted today, Atlus revealed Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey.

The game will be released in Japan in the fall of 2017, and will be exclusive for Nintendo 3DS. It’s basically a remake of the Nintendo DS title Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, with new features and scenarios.

It was also revealed that this is the same title that was teased with no real details back in January, but now we finally get to see what it’s all about.

The lady you can see in the screenshot above is named Alex, a mysterious new character that will come in conflict with the hero. The hero himself is part of a team sent to explore a dead zone named Schwarzwelt, which is expanding from the South Pole and risking to swallow the whole planet.

A trailer was showcased during the livestream, and you can check it out below. If you want to see more about the Shin Megami Tensei series, the publisher also showcased a super-brief teaser of the upcoming Nintendo Switch game.
