3DS Exclusive Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux’s Japanese Release Date Announced

Unsurprisingly, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux for 3DS will hit the Japanese shelves a few months before the western ones.

Today Atlus the Japanese release date of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, titled Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey in Japan.

The game will hit the local shelves on October 26th.

To celebrate the announcement, the developer is hosting a livestream on Nico Nico, promising the latest information and gameplay footage. You’ll be able to see it here on Sunday July 9th, at 7:30 pm Japan Time.

The game is a remake with additional elements of the original Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for Nintendo DS, including a new main character and more story content.

Western gamers will have to wait a bit longer than their Japanese brothers, as we’ll get the game in early 2018, courtesy of course of Atlus USA.
