Shin Megami Tensei V is scheduled to launch on November 11, 2021 in Japan – When the game had its second trailer revealed, Atlus and Sega announced a worldwide release, meaning November 11 should be the English release as well, on Nintendo Switch.

The protagonist is a high school student who ends up in Da’at, another world, and fuses with a mysterious being into the Nahobito, a demonlike being. The protagonist will end up participating in the battle between gods and demons.

Shin Megami Tensei V will most notably feature over 200 demons. The world of Da’at includes both friendly and hostile demons. The character designer is Masayuki Doi, who handled the design of several brand new demons.

As usual with the SMT series, Shin Megami Tensei V will let us cooperate demons. Lastly, SMT V has been confirmed to feature multiple story routes and endings.

In Japan, a first print limited edition will also be released for SMT V, with DLC codes for demons, BGMs, and items. For now we’ll have to wait for the official announcements to learn if a similar Limited Edition will be coming to America and other territories.
