Is the Forces of Nature Trio fatigue starting to set in yet Pokemon GO players?

After almost a month and a half of battling both the Incarnate and Therian Formes of Landorus, Thundurus and Tornadus, we're nearly at the end.

Before then, however, Therian Forme Landorus still needs to make its debut in raids - something which is happening around the globe right now as part of the Rivals' Week event.

With the Shiny Incarnate Formes of the three Pokemon being released, players are left wondering "Can Therian Forme Landorus be Shiny?" - Let's take a look.

What's happening during Rivals' Week?

Rivals' Week is the latest event in Pokemon GO, which will see Therian Forme Landorus debut.

Alongside the aforementioned debut, Rivals' Week will usher in two more new Pokemon and their evolutions - Clauncher and Skrelp.

On top of this, players will have the opportunity to encounter pairs of rival Pokemon, including "Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Makuhita, Meditite, Zangoose, Seviper, and more!"

What does Therian Forme Landorus and its Shiny form look like?

I can't help but feel that the Therian Formes of the Forces of Nature trio are infinitely cooler than their Incarnate Forme counterparts.

This time out, following Thundurus' serpent-like shape and Torndaus' bird-like figure, Therian Forme Torndaus looks like a prowling, flying tiger.

The now-quadruped looks incredibly ominous prowling through forests or floating across the sky.

In terms of its shiny form, however, not a great deal changes.

Landorus' dark orange body becomes a more yellowy-orange colour and the spots it has take the colour that Landorus' body once was.

Will Therian Forme Landorus' Shiny form be available in Pokemon GO?

As you would expect, after both Therian Forme Thundurus and Therian Forme Torndaus' Shiny forms were omitted from the game, Therian Forme Landorus is in exactly the same situation.

Niantic can afford to keep Therian Landorus' Shiny form up their sleeves for a later date. They can get people to raid for the Pokemon's latest form now, then for the Shiny form as part of a future event.
