ShockCast Ep. 168 – “Video Games Are Awesome”

on April 2, 2014 2:19 PM

I didn’t have a featured topic prepared for this week because, quite frankly, nothing really interesting happened in the gaming world. That being the case, I decided to ask the illustrious panel about how they got into video games. We wax nostalgic about our first systems, games and some of the crazy memories we have associated with them.

We also talked about some of the cool things that happened on the site including: Our interview with Michael Pachter and our reviews for Atelier Escha & Logy, The Witch and the Hundred Knight and Tomb Raider #2. As usual, we dropped a few news bits here and there and of course, had our mandatory Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes talk which just seems to spring out of nowhere now.

This week I was joined by my fellow Staff Writers Ryan Meitzler and Jorge Jimenez. Thanks as always to El Blanco Niño for our custom intro and outro tracks.

Tony has been a gamer ever since he came to the United States from the Dominican Republic when he was a kid. He's been a geek since he could draw his first breath and will be one until he draws his last. In addition to video games, Tony loves Comic Books, Anime, Science Fiction and Fantasy. If it's geeky then Tony is most likely into it.
