When it comes to games getting canceled and studios closing they’re never a good thing, though some hit much, much harder than others.

In the latest installment of the ShockCast, Lou, Ryan, and Azario delve into one of the more unfortunate sides of the gaming industry by discussing game cancellations and studio closures, in the wake of the recent canceling of the Xbox One/PC title Scalebound and Killzone: Mercenary developer Guerrilla Cambridge.

Aside from that, we also sidetrack a bit into some recent game releases in a busy January, including Ryan’s dive into the horrors of Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, Azario’s take on Gravity Rush 2, and a few others.
