It's a new year and so we figured that we would start things off on the ShockCast with a bang! For our 1st show of 2011 we have three great topics for you all. For our first segment we delve into what makes for a "hardcore" gamer. After the editorial I wrote this week, we decided to further dissect the idea as to how one defines the term. For segment number two we discuss what influences us when it comes to new IPs or ones that we're generally unfamiliar with. When is it worth taking a shot on the unknown? And for our third segment we discuss the removal of Ubisoft's ridiculous DRM, and why DRM will never work with any medium, let alone video games.
