Early last week, an intended teaser page with a countdown timer marked the arrival of something thing, though that something turned out to be the revival of a classic PC franchise with the reveal of System Shock 3 thanks to the teaser page going live a little too early - however, the newly-revealed splash page for the game has revealed a little more information on the upcoming return of SHODAN.

Following its tease early last week, System Shock 3 has officially been revealed to be in development under OtherSide Entertainment, with the series under the watch of Night Dive Studios, who acquired the rights to the series last month and are also in production on a remake of the original System Shock.

The teaser page revealed the title and a first look at the return of SHODAN, the infamous AI that serves as the series' main villain, with the teaser page hosting a playable audio file that says (in an automated voice), "Did you think I’d forgotten you, insect?"

Details on the title are still vague at this time as the game appears to still be in the very early stages of development and production, though the teaser page does contain a link to a survey being conducted by OtherSide Entertainment, and allowing users to sign-up for a newsletter as new information and details on System Shock 3 are released.

Specifically, the survey asks users whether they played the previous two System Shock titles, players' preferred gaming platform of choice (between PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Other), and survey takers' interest in virtual reality.

In recognition of taking the survey, users that complete the page will be entered to win one of 16 limited edition art prints from concept artist Robb Waters for System Shock 3 featuring SHODAN: users that enter by January 31st, 2016 will be informed if they won a print by February 15th, with the prints to be shipped by April 1st.

System Shock 3 is currently in development by OtherSide Entertainment in collaboration with Night Dive Studios.
