Excalibur Games has announced a sequel to their shop running simulator. Shoppe Keep 2 will launch on Steam Early Access according to the reveal trailer.

The trailer shows a number of improvements over the first game. Most notably, the game is much prettier than its predecessor, which released back in April. It had players running their own adventurer's shop in a fantasy world, selling potions, weapons, and armor to roaming adventurers.

Shoppe Keep 2 once again features a shop, but it can be expanded from a single room to a multi-level mega-mart of a fantasy store. The surrounding village can also be explored, including the forest and other lands where rare resources can be gathered. While gathering said resources, players can equip themselves with bows, swords or staffs to ward off enemies to make it back in one piece.

The game can be played alone or with 2-4 players. The economy even changes with the online community. According to Excalibur games, an example would be if you sell to many health potions, the market will become saturated and their price will diminish. The game also features automated helper bots to help run your shop.

Deciding between adventuring with your best gear to acquire better goods, or selling said gear, is part of the strategy. Shoppe Keep 2 is coming to Steam Early Access on PC on April 26.
