Animal Crossing: New Horizons certainly has some interesting characters in both the villager and Island visitor categories.

The likes of Leif, Sahara and Redd all have such unique personalities and offer rare goods, however, you are at the mercy of the game when you get to speak to them.

Thankfully, New Horizons gigantic 2.0 update changes that and allows players to help these characters earn a permanent plot to open their shop on Harv's Island.

In this guide, we'll explain how you can get to Harv's Island, what characters want to open shops there and how exactly you can help them do that.

Getting To Harvs Island

Getting to Harv's island is easy enough in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Take a short trip to your airport and have a chat with Orville. Tell him that you want to fly and select the option to "Visit Harv's Island". After that, you'll be well on your way!

How to Get The Shops On Harv's Island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Getting the shops is simple, each one will cost 100,000 Bells to unlock and players are limited to unlocking one shop per day!

Be sure to pick wisely the ones you want to see first. My suggestion would be Leif.
