Shovel Knight Releasing Physically on PS4, Xbox One, 3DS and Wii U This October

Shovel Knight took the world by storm last year when it released, even entering into many a Game of the Year conversation. Now, long after its initial release, the game will be getting a physical version on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and 3DS.

The release is coming this October, the 13th in North America, and the 16th in Europe. The game will be priced at a very reasonable $19.99 with an instruction booklet included in the box, as well as the Plague of Shadows DLC, and all the planned content updates for the game.

Sadly neither a PS3, nor a PS Vita version are planned, with the former being understandable as it is a last gen system, while the latter is an odd choice, especially when the Vita’s fanbase is so pro-physical.
