Today Portalarium Games released a new pair of trailers of the upcoming RPG Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues.

If you're unfamiliar with the game, Shroud of the Avatar is the latest brainchild of Richard Garriott, the creator of the Ultima series, and one of the fathers of the RPG genre. The story is also co-written by Tracy Hickmann, the man behind the Dragonlance novels.

It was pretty much inevitable that those two minds would give birth to an absolutely charming world, and what I have seen so far definitely confirms that. If you want to see it for yourself, one of the trailers released today shows exactly that.

The second trailer focuses on co-op gameplay, since Shroud of the Avatar utilizes an interesting system that lets you switch between solo play, co-op with your friends, and full-fledged online MMO-like gameplay.

You can check both out below. If you want to read more, you can also enjoy our article including comments by Garriott himself on the possibility to port the game on other platforms.

We also have a full-fledged interview coming, so stay tuned for that.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues will release officially on March 27th for PC, Mac, and Linux.
