Shuhei Yoshida Clarifies House’s Statement About the PS Vita TV’s Release in the West

on September 13, 2013 6:25 AM

During an interview Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House made a statement that could be interpreted as the company not being interested in releasing the PS Vita TV outside of Japan “anytime soon” (as some sites incorrectly quoted).

Today SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida made a follow-up statement on Twitter clarifying that all House was saying is that the PS Vita TV will be released in japan first, and that’s it. He also added that we should “stay tuned” for further information.

If you’re interested in purchasing a PS Vita TV outside of Japan, don’t lose hope. Things may not be as bleak as some reporters led you to believe.
