Keiichiro Toyama is a familiar name for those who follow Japan's video game industry, and it's probably big news that he's back to the industry again for delivering another horror experience in the new generation of consoles. If you don't know him, he's the creator behind Silent Hill.

Bokeh Game Studio Inc. is the new home for Toyama and his new team of developers in Japan. In an interview with IGN Japan, Toyama confirmed that they are working on a brand new project at the studio that will be a horror experience set in the action-adventure genre. He claimed that the new project will appeal to the fans of his previous works. Similar to Silent Hill and Gravity Rush, the new project is promised to feature some rich worlds with structured backgrounds.

According to Toyama, the game will be a broader entertainment experience with a horror-oriented theme. Probably more like Silent Hill than Gravity Rush.

The game doesn't have an exact release date yet, but Bekoh Game Studio is aiming for a 2023 release. The lead platform of the game is PC, but the developers hope that they could launch it on as many platforms as possible.

Bekoh Game Studio is a fairly large team that has just entered the prototype stage of development, and the producer of the project hope they could be able to launch it three years from now.

Previously, there were some rumors around the announcement of a brand new iteration of the Silent Hill series exclusively for PS5, but so far, there has been no official word about that.

Along with Toyama, there are some other big names involved in the project, including Sato, the producer behind Siren and The Last Guardian, Junya Okura, lead level designer of Siren and Gravity Rush, and three veteran developers from Sony's Japan Studio.
