Developer studio Cracked Heads Games will be releasing their new title Silver Chains in partnership with Headup Games in Spring 2019 for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. From the look of their brand new trailer, which you can watch below, this looks like it could be quiet a hair-raising, atmospheric ride!

Cracked Heads Games are using Unreal Engine 4 in this spooky title, which means that graphically it should be pleasant to the eye and bring all those nooks and crannies into full-blown focus, whether we like it or not, as the player makes their way around the creepy interiors of an early 20th century English manor. Set in The Victorian era, you can definitely be sure that the developers were dead-set on creating an eerie atmosphere which will keep folks on the edge of their seat.

Silver Chains is a first-person horror game that focuses on story and exploration, where you must search for clues in the manor to understand the horror that has occurred there. The main character you will be playing is Peter, who wakes up in this god-forsaken place after an accident, where he soon realizes he isn't alone. As he frantically tries to escape, he stumbles upon the disturbing secrets that lay within the manor walls and, even worse, clues to suggest this isn't the first time he's been here. (Duh duh duh duh!)

Here are a few of the features that you can expect from Silver Chains:

  • An atmospheric horror experience: photo-realistic & detailed graphics bring the interior of an old abandoned mansion to life and an eerie soundtrack will fully immerse you into the game.
  • Story-exploration-game with puzzle and action elements: Unravel the mysteries of a huge mansion and gain entry into its hidden areas by solving puzzles
  • Beware the dangers lurking in the dark. This evil you cannot fight - run for your life or find a place to hide: Experience intense feelings of horror as you try to escape from the monster chasing you down.

Silver Chains will be available on PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in Spring 2019.
