SimCity Developer Diary Video Showcases the Glassbox Engine

Electronic Arts released a new Developer Diary video of the upcoming simulation game SimCity, that will mark the much awaited return of the glorious franchise by Maxis (much to my joy, sice SimCity 4 is one of my favorite games of all time).

The video shows some of the features of the new GlassBox engine, that will allow the game to display in real time the flow of resources, vehicles and pedestrians that will interact with the buildings on our virtual city.

While the graphics are not final, it’s still definitely interesting to those like me that like to catch a glimpse on what goes on beyond the scene. In the end that’s all SimCity is really about. Check it out after the break.
