Simon Pegg Lends Voice Talent to Spare Parts

Comedy genius Simon Pegg is best known for his roles in Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Spaced, and will be lending his voice to the role of the supercomputer/guide Con-Rad in upcoming XBLA/PSN game Spare Parts, which will feature both local and online co-op.

Developed by EA Bright Light, Spare Parts tells the story of two robots Mar-T and Chip as they find themselves thrown out with the trash on a strange planet. Guided by Con-Rad, the team must work together to repair a damaged space ship to escape the planet before the evil Lord Krung destroys them.

I was not familiar with this game beforehand, but with Simon Pegg on board my interest is piqued. Make sure to check out our gallery for images of Simon Pegg in the recording booth and a picture of his character Con-Rad!

When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
