Can you believe the Queen of Edenia is back and ready to violently scream in every kombatant's face? If you own the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pass, you have access to Sindel right now. Those who have been purchasing the game's content a la carte can start playing as the Scream Queen on December 3, 2019.

Like every single fighter who partakes in the Mortal Kombat tournament, there is a list of fatalities and brutalities to learn and use on your opponents. In this Sindel Mortal Kombat 11 finishers guide, I'll go through each of the new character's finishers and how to perform them.

Similarly to the Terminator Mortal Kombat 11 Finishers guide, I will be using a universal key for button inputs so I don't have to spell it out for each platform. Here is the translation:

  • 1: Square (PS4), X (Xbox One)
  • 2: Triangle (PS4), Y (Xbox One)
  • 3: Circle (PS4), B (Xbox One)
  • 4: Cross (PS4), A (Xbox One)
  • F: Forward
  • B: Back
  • U: Up
  • D: Down

Sindel Mortal Kombat 11 Finishers: Fatalities

Sindel Mortal Kombat 11 Finishers

Like every character in Mortal Kombat 11, Sindel has two fatalities. Both have already been shown off publicly, and they are disgusting. The first fatality, which is unlocked when you purchase Sindel, is named "Scream Queen." This is the one where she uses her hair to hold the opponent's wrists, pulls them up close, violently screams in their face, ripping their body to shreds. She finishes by shooting a blast with her scream, disassembling her opponent's body. Here is the button input:

  • Scream Queen: D, D, F, 3 (Close)

Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11 are pretty simple to execute, especially if they require you to be close to the opponent. When performing "Scream Queen," just move up to your dazed opponent as close as possible and input the combination above. If you do it quick succession, the fatality should initiate and you'll get to see the Queen rip someone apart with her scream.

Sindel's second fatality is called "Hair Today Gone Tomorrow." This is the one where she shoots her hair into her opponent's mouth (gross), it exits out of their chest, and begins to interweave into various areas of their body. She then pulls her hair, disconnecting every limb from their body, as well as skinning their torso somehow. It's wild. Here is the button combination for the second fatality:

  • Hair Today Gone Tomorrow: B, F, B, 1 (Mid)

"Hair Today Gone Tomorrow," in my opinion, is way cooler and way more brutal. Also, the button combination for this fatality is not available when you purchase Sindel; it has to be unlocked. However, you do not need to unlock the button combination in order to perform the fatality. If you know what the button combo is, you should be able to perform the fatality.

Mid-range fatalities are a bit harder to execute than close-range ones. You simply just have to take a few steps back from your opponent. I feel the best indication of what is considered "mid-range" is whether you can hit your opponent with normal attacks. This isn't the best indication for some characters, but having that mindset helps me measure that distance. Once you are at mid-range, input the button combo above, and watch Sindel's hair get real bloody.

Sindel Mortal Kombat 11 Finishers: Brutalities

Sindel Mortal Kombat 11 Finishers

Brutalities in Mortal Kombat 11 are finishers that require certain criteria to execute. They may not be as flashy, but intentionally performing a brutality is a bit more impressive than the iconic fatalities. Sindel has three brutalities "unlocked" upon purchasing her. There are more brutalities, which the Mortal Kombat Twitter account has teased, but must be unlocked to see the requirements. Like fatalities, if you just know the requirements for a brutality, you can perform it regardless of whether you have unlocked it. Anyways, here are the brutalities that are unlocked from the get-go:

  • The Klassic: D+2
    • Must no block any attack during The Final Round
    • Must hold 2
    • Final hit must come from an uppercut

  • Edenian Guillotine: F+LB (Xbox One)/L1 (PS4) or F+1+4
    • Press D, D, D during hit
    • Final hit must come from a forward throw

  • Violent Uprising: LB (Xbox One)/L1 (PS4) or 1+4
    • Rapidly press 1 and 4 during hit
    • Final hit must come from back throw
