MediEvil has always held a position as one of Sony’s cult classic franchises, with its skeletal protagonist Sir Daniel Fortesque having last been seen in the Sony mascot brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and now a new PC mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is set to bring back some of Sir Dan’s earlier journeys for fans of the series.

The new mod, called “MediEvil: Hero of Gallowmere,” is a first-person mod created using Skyrim by modded KorinOo, and will set to recreate the first four levels from the original PSone title, released in 1998. Though the mod is still a work in progress, the first trailer published through the nodder’s YouTube channel already shows a number of impressive recreations from the first MediEvil and that should warm up the old bones of many long-time fans of the original game.
