Six New Games Added to PlayStation Now Beta; Pricing Model Remains Unchanged For Now

Today Sony Computer Entertainment added a few new games to the PlayStation Now beta. To be precise, six new titles have appeared in the catalog:

  • Ben 10 Omniverse 2 (which replaces Ben 10 Omniverse)
  • Catherine
  • Darksiders
  • Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
  • Resident Evil Code: Veronica X
  • Saints Row 2

Below you can see screenshots of the listing page of each of the new titles with pricing information, which one of our readers was nice enough to provide.

Unfortunately the overall pricing model has remained unchanged for now, and all existing games retain their old prices, despite extensive feedback from many users that seem to find the rental costs excessive. In the two galleries below you can see the original line-up and the current one for the sake of comparison.

Of course we should remember that this is a beta, and that Sony already specified that the pricing isn’t final. Hopefully user feedback will persuade them that paying 8 bucks to rent a game for a month, when you can get the same game for the same price in many shops’ discount bin is really excessive.
