Today, during Ubisoft's E3 2017 press conference, the publisher announced its previously teased new IP.

The game is titled Skull and Bones, developed by Ubisoft Singapore, and it's an open world multiplayer pirates game.

It's in development at Ubisoft Singapore, and it will be released in the fall of 2018.

It was supposed to be released before March 31st, 2018, but Ubisoft decided to give it more time in the oven and release it in the next fiscal year.

Back at the latest investor conference call,  CFO Alain Martinez defined it “a multiplayer game with strong live operations.”
