Skullcandy announced earlier that they will be launching an Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag edition of the SLYR gaming headset.

The headset is getting a slight makeover with a custom color and artwork inspired by the game’s Animus machine. Skullcandy teamed with Ubisoft to develop an audio profile that is custom tuned with three EQ settings to give you a dynamic sound while playing AC IV: Black Flag. The SLYR headset is cross-compatible, which means you can use them with you PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and even most smartphones, tablets and MP3 players.

You can pick up your Black Flag edition Skullcandy SLYR gaming headset now from retailers or from Skullcandy’s website.

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag is easily one of the most hotly anticipated games of the year and we’re thrilled to be able to offer our unique perspective on audio fidelity and gaming style to the legions of fans who stand behind the Assassin’s Creed franchise,” said Sam Paschel, CMO of Skullcandy. “The Skullcandy SLYR AC IV Black Flag Edition represents our first partnership with a major gaming publisher and we’re aiming to make a lasting impression with gamers everywhere. We’re supremely confident gamers will be blown away by what we’ve been able to accomplish — a truly authentic Assassin’s Creed experience combined with a level of audio performance and value they’ve never seen before.”

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be releasing  on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on October 29th. PC gamers, expect a release on November 19th. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, expect a Day One launch.
