Although it has been available via PSN for months now, the mandatory balance patch for Skullgirls has today been released for the Xbox 360 version of the game. This patch makes various tweaks and improvements to the game. You can read about the patch in detail here.

In related news, PS3 Skullgirls players can now purchase a variety of additional color palettes for each of the game’s playable characters. Each character’s color pack is $1 and they include four additional color palettes. You can get the new colors for all of the girls in one reduced bundle for just $5. If you buy the bundle, you’ll get an additional bonus color for each character. That’s a total of 40 new colors for $5. Not a bad deal at all.

These colors will be available soon for the Xbox 360 version of the game. The first character funded by Lab Zero’s recent fundraiser – the undead opera singer Squigly – is currently on track to be released this Summer. View screens of the additional new colors below.
