With the introduction of seasons within Pokemon GO, there is one thing that you can now guarantee, lots of events and lots of changes.

Before this addition, Pokemon GO arguably started to stagnate a little, however, Niantic seems keen to not let that happen again and thus, are giving players event after event.

The latest, A Very Slow Discovery, is kicking off and has bought a bunch of very slow raid bosses with it, one of which is Slacking.

To help take it down, here is every Slaking weakness in Pokemon GO and all the best counters to help you defeat it.

Slaking Weakness Pokemon GO - Raid Guide and Best Counters 2021

Like one of the other new raid bosses, Snorlax, Slaking's Normal-typing leaves it with a solitary weakness.

That weakness is Fighting-type moves, meaning, there's only one set of Pokemon you're going to want to bring to Slaking raids.

Best Counters for Slaking Weaknesses

As stated, Slaking's only weakness is to Fighting-type moves and therefore, this is what you should look to exploit.

It does have a little variation from the best Snorlax counters, however.

The two best Mega Pokemon remain the same - Mega Gengar and Mega Lopunny but it's the other counters that vary slightly.

Lucario, Conkeldurr, Machamp, Breloom, Blaziken and Hariyama all remain top prospects, however, the likes of Darmanitan and Landorus come into the mix.

The best moveset for these Pokemon can be found below:

  • Mega Lopunny - Low Kick/Focus Blast
  • Mega Gengar - Sucker Punch/Focus Blast
  • Lucario - Counter/Aura Sphere
  • Conkeldurr - Counter/Dynamic Punch
  • Darmanitan - Fire Fang/Focus Blast
  • Machamp - Counter/Dynamic Punch
  • Breloom - Counter/Dynamic Punch
  • Landorus - Extrasensory/Superpower
  • Hariyama - Counter/Dynamic Punch
  • Blaziken - - Counter/Focus Blast

Despite sporting a whopping attack stat, Slaking is easily soloed with the right counters in Pokemon GO.
