Kongregate Eyes PC as Slashy Hero Now Slicing up Monsters on Steam

Mobile game Slashy Hero released on Steam less than 24 hours ago, adding one more platform for the title. The play style invokes arcade-like scenarios with a cut mechanic that is reminiscent of Severed.

While the story is incredibly basic with you chopping up enemies and looting a castle, the fact that you’re saving Halloween is appropriate given the month. The game has many costumes to collect over 95 levels and secrets to discover.

The press release also mentioned that Slashy Hero will be the first game that Kongregate will bring to Steam. The rather large publisher has mainly focused on mobile titles to this point so it should be interesting to see what they have in store.

Slashy Hero is on sale at $4.89 USD (30% off) until November 1st on PC. You can watch the trailer below to see more slicing goodness.
