Digerati Digital and Blue Wizard Digital have already brought their psychotic puzzler to Steam and mobile. Today, the team announced that Slayaway Camp will be launching on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in a whole new version this October.

Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut lets players inhabit the body of Skullface, a sociopath who just wants to exact revenge in the most murderous way possible. This isometric puzzle game asks that you slide the slasher across stages to eliminate his victims in some of the most horrific ways possible.

This console version of the game will include the base Slayaway Camp game, plus loads of new content such as Deluxe Edition, My Gory Valentine, HallCamp, Monthly Murderers Series 1 & 2, Supernatural Forces, and Santa’s Slay. Not sure what all of that means? Here’s the breakdown:

  • 300+ Fiendish puzzle levels to massacre your way through
  • 60+ Killers to cause comical carnage with, including deranged wackos such as Mutant Hillbilly, Kevin, and the killer inter-dimensional clown: THAT
  • 90+ Gorepacks with delightfully OTT kill scenes to shock and entertain

This is Blue Wizard Digital’s debut game. However, members of the team have also worked on notably less violent games such as BejeweledPeggleCosmochoria, and Cardinal Quest.

Slayaway Camp is currently available on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam. It is also available on Android and iOS devices. Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut does not have a specific release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One just yet, but the team says it should be available just in time for Halloween.
