Today, developer Monomi Park announced Slime Rancher has sold over one million copies.

The slime wranglin' simulation game launched earlier this month on August 1st after more than year in Steam Early Access.

It's currently unclear if this figure includes only copies sold since launch, or also includes copies sold in Early Access. The latter is likely the case.

Monomi Park does note however, the figure doesn't include Games with Gold downloads. For those who missed it, Slime Rancher is currently available on-the-house for Xbox Live Gold members as part of the August's Games with Gold offering.

Apart from the one million copies sold across PC, Xbox One, Mac, and Linux, the game has been downloaded over 3.5 million times as part of the Games With Gold offering.

Normally, Games With Gold (or Sony's own free games with PlayStation Plus offering) download figures are not shared, and thus it's always been hard to gauge how many people are participating in said offerings. While Slime Rancher isn't the biggest name to stick out, it was notably a new release, but yet still only garnered 3.5 million sales, which seems to suggest that not many people are actively taking advantage of the abovementioned offerings.

Slime Rancher is available for $19.99 USD on PC, Mac, Linux, and Xbox One. For more information on the title, be sure to check out its Steam page.
