A surprising reveal at the latest Nintendo Direct was the announcement of the original Pokemon titles, including Red, Blue, Green and Yellow, making their way to the 3DS via eShop. The Virtual Console downloads are due out on February 27, 2016 to commemorate the series' 20th anniversary. As revealed earlier, special 2DS bundles and physical versions are hitting Japan at the same time as the digital games. These download cards have started to appear, and with them, the download size of the games have been unveiled. It looks like each title will run only 11MB of space, a significantly small download for 3DS software.
